Bio

My Bloodline was established in Finland in 2023 by 5 members with diverse musical backgrounds.

Musical elements ranging from hard rock, metal, progressive and even some poppish influences the band’s music is a combination of all those learnings we all pick up along the way of life.

Drawing from their previous musical experience the band wrote the debut EP ’Afterlife Limited’ in the winter of ’23 – ’24 and entered the studio.

After releasing the EP in the first half of 2024 the band is bound to enter the local stages in the fall of 2024 so make sure you follow the gig announcements on the website to hear them live.

Members

The Beat. As a founding member of the group Tommi’s main responsibility is keeping the group in time & line. Drawing inspiration from a very vast range of metal & hard rock genres Tommi is the one making sure the ’My Bloodline signature sound’ can be heard through all the compositions the group creates.

The Riff Machine. Many of the songs stem from riffs initially created by Eelis, later on arranged and completed by the rest of the band. Being a founding member of the band he draws his inspiration among others from metalcore and genres alike.

The Melody. Japo is the man behind the lead guitar melodies, harmonies and solos heard throughout the discography. The man who finalizes the melodic sound on every single song by injecting a touch of beauty into even the roughest of compositions.

The Foundation. As the freight train steaming toward you, Jake is the man you feel smashing in the back of your brain. The sturdy bass lines that keep the beat going are the very spine of all My Bloodline songs. Rough, punchy & driven when needed, flowing when called for.

The voice. It takes a set of lungs to keep up with My Bloodline bulldozer. Hagi is the man behind the vocal lines relaying a story after another completing the compositions into melodic narratives unheard of. Inserting hooky melodies into otherwise heavy song structures is becoming the norm for the band and finalizes the sound that is to be the signature sound of Tundra Metal.
