Flame

Flame - My Bloodline

Flame was released on March 24, 2026. Being the 11th single release by the band, Flame completed the group’s third studio sessions in winter -26.

”Flame” was originally coined by the drummer, Tommi, who had an idea about the beat and the guitar riff. With those ideas he entered the band’s mixing engineer-producer Mika Haapasalo’s studio to work on the rest of the song. The heavy guitar riffs and melodic chorus are accompanied by a harmonic choir in the bridge to bring the audience to a halt.

Lyrics

Once I jumped off a plane somewhere down in Cape Town
I was looking for the flame
Eager to defy death but there wasn’t much life being found

While looking for light in dark places
Had dinner at dawn at the house of the Transylvanian beast
I went preying for some game
Though living a life in oasis
Never found it to be one that matched my northern hometown feast

101, For somewhere between the seed and decay
You start believing it’s not in your name
But forever freedom may not evade
A nomad still fuelling the flame, I’m still
Counting, counting, counting

At 2 am I was lost at a heartfelt Kyoto shrine
I was praying for some rain
I almost found peace but I ran out of sacramental wine

Was a time I was settling at Garda
Incomplete on the inside like the houses rising on Tirana streets
Given up on fame
Busan tellers said you can’t cheat karma
I went breaking bread with the Bedouins in Oman, soon told me to leave

404, For somewhere between the seed and decay
You start believing it’s not in your name
But forever freedom may not evade
A nomad still fuelling the flame, I’m still
Counting, counting, counting

Ignite it on the inside
Feed it from the outside
Ignite it on the inside (You gotta light it up on the inside)
Feed it from the outside (Gotta fuel it up from the outside)

602, for somewhere between the seed and decay
You start believing it’s not in your name
But forever freedom may not evade
A nomad still feeding the fuel to the flame
For somewhere between the seed and decay
1000 down, 2000 to go
But forever freedom may not evade
A nomad still fueling the flame
I’m still roaming, roaming, roaming, roaming on
